23 Things Assignment #1
For someone belonging to Generation Y, I am pretty technologically illiterate. The only real link I have to this group of technologically savvy people is that I was born in the 80's. I must have missed the lesson on how to be high-tech and modern. That's really why I'm now here participating in this workshop.
What, then, do I hope to learn from 23 Things? Well, above all, I'd like to catch up to the rest of my peers because, frankly, my ignorance in this subject is starting to become quite embarassing. I know that my peers are starting to see through the "I'm too busy for that kind of stuff" excuse. And truthfully, I can't really get more specific than that because, despite having read the course description, all of these concepts are actually really new to me. I guess then that I hope to learn everything that the course description sets out to teach me. All I really want is to be freed from the chains of static stone-age technology!
